how it works
i try to be as flexible as possible when planning a portrait shoot. we can shoot in my studio, i can come to your place, or we can shoot at the location of your choice. the basic rate for a portrait shot in my studio is $1,250.00. this includes one sitting with
any and all portrait subjects, all film and processing necessary (usually about 10 rolls of medium-format black & white film), contact sheets for image selection and one exhibition-quality 17" x 22" archival inkjet print. you can choose the image, or i can choose it for you if you prefer. one-half of the payment is due when we schedule the shoot; with the other half due when we select the image to print, usually 1 - 2 weeks after the shoot. rush service (image selection 3 days after the shoot, final print another 2 days) is available with an extra 50% premium of the shoot fee. all other shoot possibilities (if we shoot out of the studio, if more than one portrait is commissioned, if you wish me to shoot color film, etc.) can be arranged, with pricing determined by your specific requests.
additional prints
of course, you can order additional prints of the same image, or other images from
the shoot, as you wish. if you wish to print other images, there is a one-time charge
of $125.00 for each additional scan needed.
17 x 22— $300.00 each additional print
11 x 14— $200.00 each additional print
8 x 10— $125.00 each additional print
